Pierre holds a Master’s in Finance from HEC Lausanne, where his thesis focused on using large language models for sentiment-based equity strategies and testing whether AI-generated signals could deliver alpha. His academic work sits at the intersection of finance, data science and AI, and directly informs his current practice. 

Outside academia, he has traded across equities, commodities and digital assets, built and led a large online community, experimented with systematic strategies, launched the e-commerce venture Ezio Bags, and completed military service in the Swiss Armed Forces. 

He now works as a Venture Investment Specialist at DAA Ventures, bringing this mix of markets, data and AI to the analysis of early-stage technology companies and to the design of more evidence-driven investment workflows.
